Christmas is a busy time for any church and being in the city centre St. Mike’s is no exception….but we find there is still a feeling of peace and sanctuary amid the hustle and bustle outside.  We know this time of year can be joyful for some and for others a reminder of losses, a time of loneliness.  Whatever your experience we welcome you and hope you find something here to take into your heart.

Sunday 17th Dec @ 6.30pm    Carols by Candlelight   A more traditional ‘readings and carols’ service, led by the St. Mike’s Christmas Scratch Choir.  We are delighted that the sermon will be given by the Ven. Adrian Youings, the new Archdeacon of Bath.                                                                                                        For those unable to get here in person the service will be broadcast live on Bath Hospitals Radio. To access the broadcast on your computer please log on to www.bathhospitalradio.org.uk and click on LISTEN LIVE.

Monday 18th Dec. @ 7.00pm   ‘The Big Christmas Sing‘   Join us in the heart of our parish in Kingsmead Square for an outdoor seasonal musicfest.  We will be ably supported by Bath Spa Band so lend us your voices for a joyful singalong!  Just bring yourself and some enthusiasm.  The businesses in and around the square will be staying open so you can warm yourself up with a hot chocolate from The Boston Tea Party.
