DOES GOD KNOW THAT I EXIST?
God does know each of us exists because God exists to create and give life. Furthermore he has a destiny and a purpose for each of us. Jesus told his followers that God even knows the number of hairs on our heads.
Here are a couple of verses from the Bible that may help show what we mean.
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 139. 13
"For God chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight." Ephesians 1.4
DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS EXISTED?
The four gospel writers all recorded the events surrounding the historical figure of Jesus within decades of his death. St Paul's accounts of Jesus are even earlier than that. Apart from the bible, other non-Christian historians such as Josephus, Tacitus, Suetonius and Pliny the Younger also include references to the person of Jesus. Most historians feel that the proof for the existance of the historical Jesus is more compelling than evidence for Julius Ceasar's campaign in Britain or Alexander the Great's military conquests. The deeper question remains: who was Jesus of Nazareth?
