During December, we will continue to follow our normal service program (9am Holy Communion and 10.30am Morning Worship) on Sundays.
Our Christmas services are as follows:
Sunday 9th December:
10.30am Nativity Service
Our children and young people share the real meaning of Christmas. All the traditional elements presented in a slightly less traditional way!
4.00pm Walcot Street Lantern Procession, followed by…
6.30pm Mencap Christingle
A joint, inclusive service with Mencap Choir and Walcot State Choir.
Come along to the church between 1-3pm and make your own Christingle – all materials provided.
Sunday 16th December:
6.30pm Carols by Candlelight
Our traditional candlelit service of readings and carols. Led by the St. Mike’s Christmas Choir and suitable for all ages.
Friday 23rd December:
4.00pm The Longest Night: A service for healing & hope for those hurting at Christmas.
This time of year can be hard for many people. Whether you are grieving, separated or estranged from family and friends or just finding life difficult – you are welcome to this service. A quieter more reflective feel to help you feel held and comforted at a difficult time.
Saturday 24th December:
Primarily aimed at children but we know adults love them too! A service of light and love for the whole family.
We will run a Christingle making workshop on Christmas Eve morning for anyone who would like to come along – time TBC.
11.00pm Midnight Communion – Bath Abbey and St. Michael’s
Be there at the very start of Christmas. A celebration of Christ’s birth, and with him the birth of new hope for the world. All welcome. Limited seating at both venues.
Sunday 25th December:

Join us in joyful worship! Christ is Born!
