For our Government
We pray for those who are in positions of authority with responsibility for decision making at national and local level at this challenging time.
We ask that God would give great wisdom, deep commitment to all and right judgement. As we all are facing difficult times, give unity to those in government, that the right paths will be taken.

For the Homeless - Our Street Community
Lord God, we pray for people who find themselves without a home, sleeping on the streets, or at risk of losing their home. We ask that you would guide all those in need to places of shelter and safety. Bless all those in Bath that seek to serve and care for the homeless, in particular thank you for the work of Genesis and Julian House. We also ask that you would guide those in positions of power to make justice and providing housing a priority. We pray in the name of Jesus.

Local shops
We give thanks for our local shops and restaurants, thank you for the rich variety we have here in Bath. We know that at this time there is much concern and worry about how these places will pay their bills. We pray for our government and the decisions they have to make, give them insight and wisdom to steer us through these times.

For local Schools
Loving Father, thank you for all who are part of our local schools here in Bath. Help them to manage their heavy workloads, and give them wisdom when dealing with challenging situations. Help all those adults to model Christlike behaviour, so as to help young people find security and peace of mind. May those in authority support their students, playing to strengths, helping with struggles and motivating them to do their best.
Comfort and restore those students living under shadows of unhappiness, abuse, pain or fear. May they have the confidence to to talk to an adult and seek help. Give discernment to all those involved with safeguarding issues, protect them and give them resilience.
Please pour out Your blessings upon our whole school communities.
