Our Mission Partners are chosen by St. Michael’s PCC as organisations that are in line with our Vision and Priorities. We try to achieve a balance so that we are supporting missional work in the UK and internationally, as well as considering different groups of people and the variety of needs and opportunities that exist.

Below you will find information on the organisations we currently support in this way.

Bringing smallholder farmers together to learn new skills and share knowledge so they can improve their livelihoods and thrive.

Farmers working alongside Ripple Effect learn more, grow more and sell more. They can feed their families nutritious food, and by having a surplus to sell can invest in their farms, send their children to school and build sustainable agri-businesses.

They have already worked with 2.5 million people, and their target is to reach another 5 million by 2030.

We are on course to reach our 2030 targets to engage project participants who are:

67% women farmers

15% living with a disability (or a family member)

20% young people (age 15-30)

8% living with HIV / AIDS

At the heart of Genesis is Jesus and his call to love our neighbour.

Genesis aims to meet the needs of hungry, homeless and vulnerable people in Bath and the surrounding area with a series of interlinked projects. As a Christian charity, Genesis works with local churches and volunteers in the wider community in Bath and the surrounding area.

They do this by meeting immediate needs, providing compassionate help and journeying with people as they gain confidence, learn new skills, overcome challenges, improve their prospects, and make choices for themselves to restore and rebuild their lives.

The projects range from offering immediate practical help with food, clothing and furniture, as well as long-term opportunities, training and work experience. They support people on their journey from crisis to independence, from despair to hope.

Aiming to equip students and support alumni to pursue justice with
their whole lives.

Christian students in the UK care about justice but they are generally not being given a clear vision of what the biblical call to justice is, or how to pursue God’s justice as a way of life.

Just Love want to raise up a generation who have cultivated the character, values, theology and practices that will enable them to pursue justice faithfully with their whole lives. They work with students to set them on that trajectory. We work with alumni to support them to stay on that trajectory for the long haul.

Through the work, service, giving, lifestyle, relationships and prayer of their alumni they aim to leverage huge justice impact for those who are suffering in our world.
