Our Day of Prayer, will be next week on Thursday 17th September from 9.30am until 9.30pm, as we seek God's guidance, blessing, and renewing power for the life of our church and the city we are called to serve.
Throughout the day, the church will be open, with prayer stations and resources available to help guide your prayers. Whether you can come for ten minutes, half an hour, or longer, we encourage everyone to set aside some time to join in. If you are away from Bath or unable to come to the church, we invite you to pray wherever you are. Together, we will bring before God our church family, our city, our mission partners, and God's purposes for the future, trusting that as we seek him, he will lead and renew us.
In the evening, we will gather as a church family for two special moments. At 6.30pm there will be a simple meal (jacket potato and fillings) and an opportunity to spend time together, before we conclude the day with a Service of Worship and Holy Communion at 8.00pm, giving thanks for all that God has done and entrusting ourselves afresh to him.
The vision God gives us is never something we carry alone. It is discovered, shaped, and sustained through prayer. Our hope is that this day will draw us closer to Christ, closer to one another, and closer to God's heart for Bath.
