CONNECT GROUPS

WHAT ARE CONNECT GROUPS?

Simply, they are small groups, that meet on a regular basis and have a specific focus on a topic or activity, for a specified period of time. The focus can be almost anything - if you have a group of people who are interested in it: bible study, books, films, music, cycling, Alpha….We have also run Bible Society courses including the Bible Course and Prayer Course. As Christians we live out our faith every day, wherever we are and whatever we are doing, so even a topic that seems to have no relation to ‘church’ can include talking and thinking about faith and God

You do not have to be a member of St. Michael’s, or be in a particular place on your faith journey to join a Connect Group, just come as you are…

JOIN A GROUP

To join a St Michael’s Connect Group, simply EMAIL us and we will link you with one of our team who will help assign you to a group.

Groups are made up of around 12 people plus one group leader. You will be placed in a group, and the leader will initially connect everyone on a text-based platform (e.g. Whatsapp). Once the group has been established, everyone will agree when/how best to meet up.
